Joy Unspeakable!

Joy, by definition, is a feeling of great pleasure and happiness.

Romans 15:13 "Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing,
so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."

True joy comes only from the Lord! Most of the time I am happy and filled with laughter: this is an outward expression of my emotions. Joy, however, is something deep down in my soul that I carry with me all
the time. When I am happy I am filled with joy; when I am sad, I still have my joy; when I am angry or heartbroken, I still have my joy. You see, precious one, God gives us emotions that outwardly express what we are feeling, but the JOY that He gives us when we invite Him into our hearts to live is simply irreplaceable and indescribable. It is contentment and peace, thankfulness and love, trust and assurance. The Bible tells us in 1 Peter 1:8-9 "And though you have not seen Him, you love Him, and though you do not see Him now, but believe in Him, you greatly rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, obtaining as the outcome of your faith the salvation of your souls.”  Joy comes only from God, and quite honestly, you either have it or you don't. You must choose JOY in all circumstances at all times. You must choose joy even when life throws you something unexpected and unwanted. God is in control. Please don’t let life's circumstances and situations steal your joy. Don't let that bully at school steal your joy. Don't let that cute boy, who doesn't seem to know you exist, steal your joy. Don't let the lack of love and affection from your family steal your joy! Rest in God, the giver of true JOY!! God gives us JOY UNSPEAKABLE, and my prayer for you, precious one, is that you accept this joy and hide it in your heart and that you allow nothing or no one to steal your JOY!!
