Romans Road- Stop 1
Heart Prep
God, help me to use this week to learn more about my salvation and show me someone with whom I can share Your message of salvation.
Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
Maybe you have heard from this book, the Everlasting Conference, church, or even friends or family, some talk about “being saved”. Maybe you are a Christian and have been saved for as long as you can remember. Being “saved” is a church term for being saved from the penalty of sin by accepting Jesus Christ as the Savior of your life and allowing Him to lead you. This week we are going to take a walk down what is called the “Romans Road”. It’s not a literal road but a group of verses throughout the book of Romans in the Bible that explain salvation.
If you have never accepted Jesus as your Savior, this week will be a great week for you to learn what it is all about. If you have accepted Jesus as your Savior, this week would be a great opportunity for you to learn verses to help you share your faith with friends or family that may not know Jesus Christ. My challenge is for you to read each verse and pray through it.
The first stop on the Romans Road is Romans 3:23. This verse tells us that everyone, ALL, have sinned and fall short of the standard God has set for us, which is perfection. The girl with a good family, who gives her everything she wants, and her life looks perfect, she’s a sinner. The girl with a rough home life who’s always in trouble, she’s a sinner. The outcast, the popular girl, the church kid, the bad kid, the rebel, the teacher’s pet, all are sinners. No one can meet the standard set by God on her own. Without God’s help, we are in a mess.

What is God saying to me?
Something I want to remember from this is....
How does this change my life and what are my next steps?
